A generation of numbed morally bankrupted society of Humanity has been spawned within the 1st world nations as the hedonistic nature of their society continues to be obsessed with pleasure and their fulfilment of unbridled desires.
This evil seed has become completely fused into the heart of the christian church with a ethos and culture of "Me Centredness", "Comfort Centeredness" where SERVICE, SACRIFICE, DENIAL of SELF far from the heartbeat of it followers.
Once the centre of a christians life was; "What did Christ want him to do and that all that they had was God's". ie Jesus was ACTUALLY LORD!
Now today the majority of Christians are centred around what they want and all that they have is theirs and God at best will get 10% and thats only because they believe it will twist God's hand to give them 20, 30, 40, 50, 100 fold that which they give back... and today its "Jesus is SAVIOUR" but FAR from LORD.
When was the last time did you truthfully pray?
"NOT my WILL but LORD YOURS be done in MY LIFE"
Ponder on this:
If Jesus is not LORD of ALL in your LIFE
ie. ALL that you HAVE belongs to HIM not YOU"and YOU are HIS SERVANT seeking to do his Bidding"
Then I suggest "HE's not LORD"
and you have not Died to yourself and His Resurrection will not be yours.
To be Born Again one must first DIE! to SELF. its Gods WAY!
John 12:24 (ESV)
24 Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.
John 15:1-12 (ESV)
1 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. 5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned.
7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. 9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. 10 If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love. 11 These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.
12 “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
Its Simple:
1. Eternal life comes on God's terms not ours'
2. God's got no plan "B" & time is not in your hands!
3. Die today make Him TRULY "LORD of All"
so you can live the Life God has for you here and into eternity
THERE IS ONE WAY, no alternative paths the path of death is God's Way of being and doing and without that you're not alive to God nor a partaker in his Resurrection.
